Ruth Session #4 - A Woman of Joy and Promise
In the climax and resolution to the story, Boaz boldly confronts the closer relative with the choice to be Ruth’s kinsman-redeemer. He refuses, allowing the obligation to pass to Boaz, who joyfully complies. As Ruth (and consequently Naomi) receives her promised redeemer, we observe God’s ultimate plan of redemption advanced.
